On the Thursday and Friday of Ascension weekend, come to Sarlat to meet the local farmers ! To find them, just stroll through the streets of the medieval town centre. And bring a large basket!
Milk, honey, wine, sausages, mushrooms, jams and chestnuts of the Périgord and even caviar from Neuvic… This is one of the major gourmet gatherings of the year !
Along the way, the stands invite you to taste and purchase local products such as strawberries, walnuts and – lest we forget – delicious foie gras of Sarlat (prepared with duck or goose of the Périgord). Stop over at the craft beer stand and don’t miss a taste of Périgord truffles or local cheese!
